This collection was inspired when driving by the French Broad River in the outskirts of Asheville, N.C. The bare bones structure of the collapsing building and the openness of an abandoned warehouse adorned with graffiti intrigued me into this untamed canvas. The location provided a raw appeal and an abundance of texture, color, and a unique element of wilderness amidst an urban post-industrial landscape.
